LRMA GALA MMXXI: The Silver Ball

The Gala is the major fund-raising event for the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art and is held annually on the first Saturday of December.  Proceeds from LRMA Gala 2021 - The Silver Ball will benefit exhibitions, school tours, children's art classes, education outreach programs, teacher workshops, and other Museum projects that enrich and enhance the lives of thousands of families each year in our region.  Thank you for your interest and support!

Auction Regulations

Prior to bidding, please familiarize yourself with these rules.

 

1.  You must register a credit card in order to place bids on auction items.  Credit cards accepted are
      Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. 

 

2.  Each auction item will be displayed with an opening bid and the required minimum raise
     stipulated.

 

3.  Bidding will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020.  Bidding will end at 8:00 p.m.
     on Saturday, December 5, 2020.

 

4.  If you are the highest bidder, you are obligated to accept and pay for the item.  Charges will be
     processed after bidding closes. It may take up to 48 hours for charges to process and appear on
    your account.

 

5.  Bidders are responsible for any applicable shipping costs associated with their items.

 

6.  Once charges have been fully processed, high bidders will be notified and may pick up their
     items at LRMA, Pick up will begin no earlier than Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  Items must be
     collected from LRMA by December 15, 2020.

 

7.  Purchasers of parties, trips or services are asked to contact the donor within the stipulated time
     period.  Unless otherwise stated, all parties, trips and services must be redeemed by December
     31, 2021.

 

8.  All sales are final.  No returns, refunds or exchanges are allowed.  LRMA makes no warranties or
     guarantees on items and is not responsible for the failure of the auction donor to provide the
     items or services offered.

 

9.  As per IRS regulations, contributions over market value of items are tax-deductible.
